DEBBIE BURT

Studying photography whilst at school and art college, Debbie's imagery goes hand in hand with all aspects of her work - whether it be to illustrate her articles, as part of her graphics or as vital reference studies for her sculptures.

Staff photographer for International Thoroughbred magazine, she has also been the offical photographer for the Arabian Racing Organisation since 2016 - covering the majority of full fixtures and single Arabian races in the UK. In 2017 she was honoured to receive the Best Photographer Award at the HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Darley Arabian Awards, which recognises women achievers in Arabian racing globally, presented in Hollywood's famous Dolby Theatre.

In addition to racecourse photography, for which she is Racecourse Association accredited, she is happy to visit yards for conformation shots for websites, owner updates and sales work including video. Clients  include Sir Mark Prescott, Bt. at Heath House Stables, as well as attending stable open days, most recently for Nick Brown Racing at Fergal O'Brien's in Gloucestershire, Donald McCain's in Cheshire, Alan King's in Wiltshire and Olly Murphy's in Warwickshire.

With photographs published in magazines, newspapers  and books around the world, she also photographed Shadwell Stud's Arabian stallions and bloodstock for their annual brochure and website from 2012 to 2021 and for many of the subsequent dispersal sales.

She is official photographer for Tattersalls Jockey Club Sales at Cheltenham (and formerly their Ascot sales) and also works with Saracen Horse Feeds on a regular basis. A recent client addition to her portfolio is Thoroughbid online sales for whom she will visit clients to produce video and confirmation photographs.
